1) After APP connects to the camera, click [Settings] icon in the Device list, select [Advanced settings]- [Encoding settings], select the encoding format [H. 264/H. 265], after confirming the change, the device will apply this setting by restarted

  2) How to select the camera encoding format:

    a. H.264 encoding - Good compatibility, and video files can be played by a general player. However, the compression ratio is small, and it needs the larger network bandwidth and storage capacity

    b. H.265 encoding - Large compression ratio, and it needs the smaller network bandwidth and storage capacity. But the compatibility is ordinary, and the video files need to be played with a dedicated player

    c. If you need to connect to the video recorder, please set according to the encoding format supported by the video recorder
